Lisa was on active duty with the US Army at the time of her disappearance. On January 26, 1995 she had completed boot camp and on January 27th Lisa was due to arrive at Fort Lee in Virginia to start Officers training school. But Lisa never arrived.

Lisa's husband Lawrence told police that he dropped her off on January 26, 1995 at the Grey Hound Bus station in Richmond and she was going to take the bus to Fort Lee. Law Enforcement has found that there is no bus from that Grey Hound station to Fort Lee. Law Enforcement have also concluded that although they do not have Lisa's remains, she was murdered.

Lisa was married to Lawrence Gaudenzi on May 20, 1994 and graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University Saturday May 21, 1994. It has been reported that police had been called to the Gaudenzi residence before for domestic violence.

Lisa's last known address was 556 Redground Dr., Ruther Glen VA.


A message from Joseph Marto, Lisa's father:

"After all this time and living with this, it would be nice to find a place for her and give her a Christen burial. I still have night mares that she is calling for me and asking for my help, I need closure, I need to bury my daughter."
