Case Details: Brian Gillis was found dead on April 4, 2002 in his bed in his dorm room at Calpolytechnical Institute. What is known is that Brian ingested a lethal dose of Gamma-Hydroxybutyric Acid commonly known as GHB, an odorless, colorless liquid. The events on that night are unclear because everyone spoken to in the investigation told a different story. "Brian was clearly intoxicated", "Brian was not intoxicated", "Brian drove his car", "He could not have driven his car in his condition". One of Brian's roommates stated he knew Brian was alive at 9:30 A.M. as he left the dorm room to go to class because Brian was snoring. What is known is that a second roommate returning to the dorm room, at 10:30 A.M., after being out all night, looked at Brian as he sat down at the computer and became concerned at Brian's stillness. He called out to Brian and got no response. Going closer he touched Brian's face and recoiled at the touch as he was very cold and it startled him. He saw Brian was not breathing and made a panic call to 911. Paramedics arrived, Brian was officially pronounced dead at 11:06 A.M. Who gave Brian the lethal dose of drugs? Why was he given this drug? Someone knows how and why this happened. Perhaps that someone will come forward giving Brian's family the peace they need and the justice Brian deserves. The San Luis Obispo District Attorney's office is reviewing Brian's death as a possible negligent homicide case. Please, if you know anything about the death of Brian Gills, come forward now. The statues on this case will run out on April 4, 2005.
