Case Details: On March 16, 1999 at approx 3:45 PM the body of 17 year old Nathanael "Isaiah" Hale was found lying in a ditch just off Wittley Ridge near Ohio 775, north of Proctorville, Ohio. Nathanael had been dead at least 24 hours prior to his body being found. Nathanael had been beaten to death. On March 17, 1999 a white hat that Nathanael had been wearing was found approx 100 yards away from where his body was found. No one remembers seeing or talking to Nathanael between March 10, 1999 and March 16, 1999. Nathanael was last seen alive by his brother approx 8 days prior to his body being found, and Nathanael had spoken to a family member approx 7 days prior, because they were arranging a family gathering in Ohio for the next day. On March 10, 1999 Nathanael did not show up to meet his ride to his mothers house. At the time of Nathanael's death he was not living at home but with friends in Huntington, West Virginia. None of Nathanael's roommates reported him missing although after his body was found, they told Nathanael's mother that they last saw him 7 days prior, leaving with an unknown man.
