The Houston Police Department was called out to 1323 Witte Rd. #333, around 12 a.m on Wednesday, October 21, 2004. Officers arrived and found Rocio Alvarado, 27, stabbed to death. Police think Alvardo kidnapped his step son after allegedly murdering Rocio, his estranged wife Authorities say that Avelino Martinez is not Jesus's biological father. The couple's 1-year-old daughter, their only shared child, was found unharmed inside the father's apartment. It is possible the suspect and child may have been enroute to Laredo, Texas, where the suspect has relatives. |

Suspect Information Police are looking for Avelino Martinez, pictured at left. He is a 31 year old, Hispanic male, 5''08 tall and weighing 200 lbs. The suspect vehicle was a 1993 brown Chevrolet pickup truck with extended cab, Texas license plane number VS2034. The vechicle was recovered on Saturday October 30, 2004 in the Brookshire Area of Waller county.
