On August 20, 2000, Linda was abducted from her home on Curtis Road near I-10 and Ruthrauff. Detectives say she spent the final moments before she disappeared talking on the phone. Lawmen believe she was murdered.

Her Night shirt and brown sandals were missing. Investigators found a broken coffee cup in the doorway, blood spots, and signs of a break-in.

Linda has a four year old daughter, who not in the home on August 20, 2000, and investigators say it's unlikely Linda left on her own. Linda has not been seen or heard from since.

Friends and family describe Linda as a caring and loving mother and daughter. Linda was devoted to her 4 year old daughter and her Mother Marilyn Cox, whom she lived with.
